Quik 'n Dirty T’s

Friends, University of Michigan, Fundraising

Quik n Dirty is about quick, mass dissemination of technique and self expression. Prints are lasercut and transferred to silk screens via paper stencil or water soluable blocking ink and are designed to last only as long as that print session. No trace of the workshop is evident afterwards, save for an occasional paint smudge. No industry grade technique is used in order to allow the easiest access to this skill. Interested participants come and bring their own blank shirts to various locations and print them wherever and however many times they want. These ‘workshops’ are meant to provide access to certain skills that people normally may not have access to.
The ultimate goal of these workshops is to have people make and print their own designs autonomously and hopefully allowing for the propagation of a different design methodology.
